Desert Crocodiles

The second evolutionary set in the Drygrass Plains area. They are rivals in conjunction with Archup and Wolcheron. These two and Archup and Wolcheron are what I call the "main version specifics." This means, for example, Lotad and Seedot in the Hoenn region. Lotad was Sapphire only, and Seedot was Ruby only, Spinarak in Gold, Ledyba in Silver, etc. Another requirement is that they are numerically next to each other, and have a story to it that makes them different from the random version specifics. This can happen multiple times in one game, such as with Seviper and Zangoose, also in Ruby/Sapphire, and it does in mine as well.
